8am: I start my day with a cup of freshly grinded coffee. My favourite at the moment is kenyan beans and would highly recommend trying these to anyone who is a keen coffee drinker. Is the perfect way to kickstart the day.
9am: Once fuelled by my coffee, one of my first jobs is catching up on emails before having a finance call with David and Alistair where we talk about all thing’s numbers, budgets, accounts.
10am: Today is month end (and quarter end too which is the busiest time of the month for Finance), so will finish off invoicing our customers which takes me up to around lunch time.
1pm: Lunch is normally spent walking with Hugo (my dog) around the neighbourhood before grabbing my favourite pistachio, rose and lemon cake from Gail's Bakery to keep me going throughout the day.
2pm: After lunch, I have a call with our Finance Assistant Casey to go through the cash we are expecting to come in and talk about all thing’s month end related.
3pm: I will then start to work on revenue reconciliations and accounts across the UK and Singapore to ensure we have accounted for all costs.
5pm: I finish off the day reviewing our cash flow before sending it off ahead of the next day's cash call with Alistair and Casey.
6pm: The evening is spent having dinner with family at home before catching up on my current TV watch ‘Invasion’.
