Those living in Africa have bypassed the desktop PC and have gone straight to mobile web, for their first experience of the Internet; in fact our own data suggests that over half of people living in Kenya (51%) only access the Internet on their mobile phone.

This has opened up lifelines for people, enabling them to access crucial health, education and agricultural advice. Africa is advancing rapidly in technology, creating quality mobile applications and numerous mobile commerce opportunities.
