ON DEVICE RESEARCH HIRES SEAMUS McATEER AS INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR.

LONDON, 27th September 2022: On Device Research today announced their hire of Seamus McAteer as an Independent Director. Seamus will assist with building the On Device Research’s business in North America where the company has a growing presence and will advise on overall product and corporate strategy.

Seamus has previously built category defining platforms in media measurement, initially as a founder, director and Chief Product Architect at M:Metrics prior to the business being acquired by ComScore in 2008. He subsequently built the industry research practice at Majestic Research, now M-Sciences, and was part of the executive team during its sale to ITG.

As SVP at Millennial Media, he built Omni-Measurement, their ad effectiveness measurement platform, after the company acquired his startup mobile ad platform Metaresolver. Thereafter, he led the successful sale of Datasnap.io, a location intelligence firm he founded, to Neustar and most latterly launched Speechlab, an AI tech company building services for speech-to-speech translation.

Seamus has also held independent director positions at Motally, a mobile web analytics firm that was acquired by Nokia, Aviso Partners, a research company that is now part of Nielsen IQ, and Zokem, a mobile measurement firm which was acquired by Arbitron.
