Ipsos exec, Nader Kobeissi, joins the team to launch our MENA operations

Nader KobeissiIt's a great pleasure to welcome Nader Kobeissi to our team as the new Managing Director for Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) region. Nader's immediate task is launching our Dubai office.

“We’ve been doing mobile fieldwork in MENA countries for number of years now and the addition of Nader to the team and opening of the Dubai office will help us better understand local research needs and accelerate our growth in the region,” said Alistair Hill, CEO of On Device Research when I asked him about the Dubai office.

Prior to joining On Device Research, Kobeissi established Ipsos’ Interactive Services, which manages all online interests in MENA. Before Ipsos he held senior position in Research Now and helped Toluna to grow from a team of 11 people in Paris to a global player of over 1000 employees.

The potential of mobile in MENA

Nader himself sees great potential for mobile research in the region: “For most people in the region mobile is the main way to go online and helping brands to connect with consumers in their preferred channel is incredibly exciting,”

Reaching them on-the-go, capturing fresh emotions, and collecting responses much faster will ultimately help brands make better business decisions.”

Kobeissi’s core responsibilities are to develop On Device Researche’s business opportunities and client base in the Middle East, as well as strengthening its local mobile panel and sampling offering.

Growing in South-East Asia

We've also strengthened our South-East Asia operation by adding Jen Nee Chew to the team as the Client Service Director based out of Singapore. Chew brings years of experience from Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid, Ipsos and Synovate managing projects of major clients.
