Microsoft Surface increases ad recall, with brand metric improvements verified by On Device Research

Recently, Microsoft partnered with Samba TV to improve cut through of its Microsoft Surface ads, and deployed On Device Research's brand measurement solution to get a true read on campaign effectiveness.

Microsoft wanted to leverage TV viewing preference data to stay top of mind among target audience and increase ad recall amongst audiences not exposed to the TV commercial. A combination of passive ad tracking and dynamic survey technology enabled Microsoft to measure top of funnel campaign impact with On Device Research.
