Job description:

As a key member of the Singapore team, as Project Manager you will work across the entire project life cycle. The successful candidate will be expected to advise, oversee and implement robust market research solutions for clients from project sign off through to delivering final outputs. Strong project management and operational skills are a must for the role.

In the early stages of the project life cycle, you will work closely with the business development team, advising in the best methodological solution to meet the client’s research needs along with assisting in survey design to ensure that it is optimised for mobile.

Upon project commission, you will be expected to help and assist in survey design, survey scripting and quality testing, before liaising closely with the operations team to ensure that all research projects are launched on time and are managed proactively day to day.

In the later stages, you will be required to aid in the processing and analysis of results and in the preparation of the final project deliverable to the client. You will act as the final step in the quality control chain for each project, and therefore attention to detail is paramount.

Working within the fast paced start up environment requires a dedicated, committed and flexible mind-set. The ability and desire to share skills within the current team and an understanding that success doesn’t come without commitment and hard work is a must. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work effectively alone and as part of a wider team.

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting all aspects of the research project – from sign off to end deliverable to client.
  • Advising clients as to best practice when implementing mobile research solutions – with special attention placed upon survey design.
  • Survey design and set up – including scripting and QC checking of survey scripts.
  • Fieldwork management – Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s). Including daily fieldwork monitoring, fieldwork reports and performance reviews, liaising with the operations team to implement fieldwork actions.
  • Managing client expectations throughout the life of the research project – Keeping them updated on project progress and managing expectations on final delivery.
  • Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Data analysis and tabulation – including the QC checking of final client deliverables (raw data and/or data tables).
  • Ensuring that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
  • Desk research.
  • Liaising and attending meetings with clients and suppliers.

Job skills

Core skills required

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a client facing, project management role, within the market research industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of different research methodologies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of questionnaire design and best practice implementation.
  • Interest and understanding of advertising performance.
  • A self-starter, with initiative and ability to take responsibility for personal workload.
  • Willingness to take ownership of operational issues and ensure appropriate solutions are deployed.
  • Assertive attitude, ability to challenge in a constructive way.
  • High level of attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Confidence with, and the ability to interpret data.
  • Confidence in presenting/communicating to a wide range of audiences.

Additional skills

  • Excellent Excel skills – Pivot tables, formulas (vlookup, countifs, sumifs) are a

    must for the successful candidate.

  • Good knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Confidence with technology – always trying to use it to do things better/quicker.
  • Aptitude for multi-tasking and prioritising workload.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
